Kathy's Bio
Kathy Illian is a Process-mapping consultant and corporate trainer. She was most recently the Director of Finance and Administration for a University of Colorado Medical School department. Prior to this role she served for many years as the Financial Services Trainer and Technology Developer for the UC Denver Finance Office. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business / Information Systems, and a master’s degree in Instructional Technologies for Adult Learners. She has extensive experience in employee training, systems and process analysis, and succession planning, and has won multiple awards at CU for her Innovation and Efficiency projects.
Prior to this adventure, Kathy taught Bodymapping and advanced sewing techniques to adult learners in the Denver Public School System. Her book, 'Bodymapping - the Step-by-Step Guide to Fitting Real Bodies' was published in 1999. She appeared on several episodes of HGTV's 'Sew Perfect' in 2000.
